Surpised Observation!

Have you ever wonder which side your fuel door is of your new car, friend's car or rental car? If you were me, you would probably stick your head out of the window and have a peak, or get out of the car and look around before pulling into the gas station. Or even worse, driving around the other side of gas station after found out the fuel door is on the other side of the car.

My friend told me today there is actually an indication in the car that tell us which side of the fuel door. It is actually shown on the dashboard. There is a small little gas pump icon around the gas gauge. If your fuel door is on the left side of your car, the little icon has a pump handle extend out of the left (refer to first picture), and some other car model has the pump icon with an arrow pointing to the left as indication (second picture).

We have been driving for how many years by now? It is just right in front of us and we didn't even notice?! Aren't we ashame of ourself?
