Google Chrome Update - May 25, 2010
Version - 5.0.375.55
Today, Google released a new fastest Chrome stable version to date. The new version is Chrome's first stable release for Mac and Linux users. In additional, the stable release also comes with new features. Previously Google already allow you to synchronize your bookmarks across multiple computers, but now you could also synchronize your browser preference including themes, homepage and startup setting, web content settings, preferred language even zoom setting. Another feature that I personally has been longing for is, the extensions could be enabled for incognito mode through the extensions manager. Yes!
The stable releases also incorporates HTML5 features such as file drag-and-drop like dragging and dropping attachments in Gmail.
One important notes, Google have been beta-testing Adobe Flash Player integration into Chrome. Flash Player integration in the browser is not included by default in today's stable release. This is a big thing as many websites required flash. (If you have been using Chrome then you know those flash doesn't work in Chrome, unless you enable it by using command line. To do this, right click on Google Chrome shortcut and hit property, then add a space and --enable-internal-flash at the end of the target. Then hit apply).
Google claims that they will enable this feature with full release of Flash Player (version 10.1) soon. If you can't wait till next stable version release, you could download the Google Chrome Beta Version here and browse as many flash required website as you want!
