Movie Of The Week - The Karate Kid

This movie is out in the movie theater this week (June 11, 2010) and I have heard a lot of good reviews about this movie. And since I am a big fan of Jaden Smith (Will Smith's son) and Jackie Chen, I am actually giving this a try over A-Team (another movie that premier this weekend). I am not sure if I am crazy.

This movie is about work causes a single mother to move to China with her young son; in his new home, the boy embraces kung fu, taught to him by a master.

This remake of the 80's Karate Kid actually digs a little deeper in emotion and the whole movie almost entirely filmed in China. The fighting scene is pretty surreal, and even the movie is a little more than 2 hours, you would enjoy through the movie.

The Karate Kid actually top the box office to become the winner. So, I guess I wasn't that crazy after all. Recommended!
