Word Of The Day - Penitentiary

Penitentiary - A prison for people convicted of serious crimes

US public school systems are run more like a federal penitentiary every day.  In Fairfax County VA several students have committed suicide because they could not stand the county school boards prison tactics and a Stalinist corporal punishment system.  They'd rather hang a student and put it out of their misery than deal with the emotional phases of children turning into adults.  The only thing missing in this school district are Mao jackets, students throwing flowers and praise at their most benevolent school masters and the song of a chain-gang - only because singing is NOT ALLOWED.
