Google +1 Button

Google +1 Button is in the town!

Recently Google announced new product call +1. It serves as recommendations sharing website links among your friends and with the public. It works like this. If your friend +1 a website link previously, and when you visit that website or the links show up on your Google search results, the +1 indicates to you that your friend liked it and recommended it. This way, it gives a higher confident on that website or product.

This Google +1 product works very similar with Facebook like button. As Google is ramping up effort in their quest to social network to compete with Facebook, you could expect more new social products from Google in coming months or weeks.

Here is the video of how Google +1 button works.

Update: For those developer who has a hard time getting the +1 code snippet from the broken link on the +1 code website, Google has fixed the link (as of today 6/6/2011). Here is the link to the +1 webmaster site.

Did you see my blog +1 Button?
