
Back in September 2011, Microsoft unveil the new Windows 8 features and improvement during the Microsoft Build developer conference. Microsoft also release a developer preview of Windows 8 for developer and community to download and start developing software.
After 5 month, Microsoft releases Windows 8 Consumer Preview together with Microsoft Store for download. Please keep in mind with the hardware requirements, 1GHz Processor, 1GB (32 bit) / 2GB (64 bit) RAM, 16GB (32 bit) / 20GB (64 bit) available disk space, DirectX 9 graphics device or higher, and 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution. Microsoft claims that Windows 8 Consumer Preview would work with the same device and programs that works with Windows 7. For more details, check out their FAQ.
