Google+ Goodies

After about 90 days of trial version (registration through invitation), Google announces today that Google+ is officially open to public (No invitation required)! With the open sign up, Google+ has revealed with a few new cool features; Hangouts on smart phone, Hangouts On Air (broadcast), Search in Google+, and my favorite Hangout with Extras! The Hangouts with Extras feature is so amazing. It allows you to screen sharing (awesome!), group chat and co-viewing YoutTube video (previous features), sharing view on Sketchpad, Google Docs, and others! Here are some of the screen shots of the Hangout with Extras.

Google states that this feature is still under construction. However, they still let user preview the features in order to get some feedback. If you want to check it out, start a Hangout and click on 'try Hangouts with Extras' in the green room.
